Well, before boot camp, I had beaten Giavonni and was ready to go to Victory Road, but my dad lost my copy of LG. My save file is probably still on there.

Day 9.

...my dreams lead me to a world of darkness. My eyes refuse to adjust. I take a step and feel myself falling for what seems like an eternity before my foot hits the ground once more. Unable to see, unable to navigate this abyssal realm, I crouch down, waiting for this nightmarish landscape to disappear.

A voice from the void calls out to me.

<What is it you seek?>

"I wish to become the champion."

<Lies. You do not follow the Path of Strength. You do not pursue the impossible.>

A flash of lightning illuminates a gargantuan figure standing in front of me. I pull out a Pokeball only for it to disintegrate in my hand as I wake up...

It's just after 3 in the morning. I set up the Entralink, determined to catch this thing for real. I find a thunderstorm is brewing over the Entree Forest. Undeterred, I head in, finding a monstrous ebony dragon, electricity arcing across its body. Once more, I hear its voice.

<What is it you seek?>

"I wish to prove you wrong."

<Lies. You do not follow the Path of Truth. You do not pursue that which is attainable.>

A thunderbolt strikes a nearby tree. Another bolt comes down. The forest is caught ablaze. A tree nearly falls on top of me. The dragon speaks once more, this time its voice loud in my mind.

<WHAT IS IT YOU SEEK?>

"I wish...to wake up."

<SO BE IT.>

I return to the real world, just in time to put out the burning Entralink. Apparently it had shorted out, causing some of the insulation to burn. Although the device wasn't ruined, it'd take Fennel a few days to repair. We decide that while she repairs it, I'd go on ahead through Chargestone Cave and Fly back once I got to Mistralton City. I decide to withdraw Coldstone from my PC, equipping it with an Exp. Share to level it up quickly.

As I head into Chargestone Cave once more, I'm ambushed by three shadowy figures. They kidnap me, dragging me deeper into the cave. Eventually they drop me in front of N. He informs me that the ninjas who grabbed me are the Shadow Triad, some of Ghetsis' henchmen. He explains that Team Plasbad has chosen me for something, that Cheren pursues the Path of Strength, Bianca the Path of Truth, and that I pursue something more neutral. He then goes on to tell me that his plan is to seperate Pokemon from Humans in order to perfect both. When I protest, he challenges me to a battle. His party is different this time, all Pokemon found in this cave...wait, now that I think about it, all of his teams have been different, all found in the local area...could I be killing off his Pokemon as well? A rather disturbing thought, especially considering how amicable he's been towards me...regardless, his party falls (perhaps permanently?) once more. He leaves, muttering something about pursuing the truth in order to befriend a legendary pokemon. I wonder what he means...

After delving deeper into the cave, Eridan evolves into a Swanna, Calmasis evolves into a Cofagrigus, Coldstone evolves into a Vanillish and Big Daddy evolves into Emboar. I reach the exit, my party looking fearsome.

Mistralton City is a rather small town, not much more than an airstrip and Pokemon Center. I stop by the Pokemon Center, only to find Professor Juniper's father and Skyla, the Mistralton Gym Leader. Mr. Juniper, who has apparently heard of me from his daughter, gives my Pokedex an upgrade. Skyla, who in addition to being a Gym Leader is also a cargo pilot and saw what appeared to be a sick pokemon on top of the Celestial Tower. She tells me to meet her there if I wanted to challenge her. After they leave, I Fly back to Driftveil to pick up Fennel. She's not quite finished the repairs yet, but she returns to Mistralton with me. Leaving her to finish her work, I head towards the tower.

The path to Celestial Tower isn't as straightforward as I was lead to believe. While wandering blindly through the six foot tall grass, I encounter a Zebstrika, and, after much trouble, catch it, naming her Kanaya. I get to the Celestial Tower, learning that it's a Pokemon Gravesite. Among the mourners, I encounter a Litwick that I dub Merida. After ascending to the roof, I see Skyla has already administered some medicine to the sick pokemon. She tells me to ring the bell, which is said to soothe the spirits of the deceased. After doing so, she says that she'll meet me back in Mistralton. I Fly back to town, and place the Pokeballs of my deceased friends in the Tower.

I return to the Mistralton Airfield, where Skyla has set up a series of cannons for me to be fired out of to reach her. Really? Cannons? I have Eridan fly me directly to her rather than deal with all this silliness. Her party, while good, doesn't particularly threaten mine, and she awards me the Jet Badge and Acrobatics. I head back to the Pokemon Center, where Fennel is still hard at work repairing the Entralink. I head to bed, considering what to do next.

New Arrivals:

Zebstrika (Kanaya) - Female, Brave, Proud of its power

Day 10.

"I don't know."

"What is it I seek then?"

"But you said I don't follow the Path of Strength or Truth!"

"Well then what am I doing?"

...I wake up once more. The storm that has been brewing all week has finally struck. Rain pours down over Mistralton. While Fennel works on the Entralink some more, I intend to get to Icirrus City. I head off towards Twist Mountain, encountering Cheren once more, who proves to be rather easy as usual. Turns out that Alder was watching us battle, and as a reward for a good battle, gives us each Surf. As we head inside, we find Clay chasing after some Team Plasbad members who've holed up in the caves. After going through numerous twisting caverns and catching a Boldore (Wreckoner) we find the Plasbad Grunts and defeat them with ease. I leave the cave, bidding Cheren, Clay and Alder goodbye, and enter Icirrus City only to find Cedric Juniper outside. He begins telling me about Dragonspiral Tower, and then wanders off. Whatever. I explore the city.

The rain has stopped, but the place is absolutely flooded. While trying to navigate the place, I catch a Shelmet. Knowing they evolve into Accelgor, one of the fastest Pokemon ever, I name him Flash Step Jones, or F.S. Jones for short. I wander around a little more, eventually ending up in Route 8. I encounter a Palpitoad. Derse has been leading my party this whole time, one-shotting most enemies with ease. I have him attack, leaving the toad alive. He counters with Muddy Water.

Critical. Derse is engulfed in the swampy water. I catch the Palpitoad. I'll deal with it later.

I return to town and see a tower looming in the north. I head towards it, finding a Mienfoo (Ranma) and learn that that is Dragonspiral Tower. Unfortunately, with no way of getting in, I head back to town.

Deciding to pick up Fennel, I Fly back to Mistralton and learn that she's fixed the Entralink. She doesn't want me to use it on my own anymore however. We return to Icirrus, where I contemplate what to replace Derse with. I decide to try out Dualscar, the Stunky. I equip him with an Exp Share and return to the swamplands.

Inside, I find a Stunfisk that dies quickly to Jayne's Giga Drain. Upon leveling up, he learns Petal Dance, in exchange for Synthesis. I continue sharing levels with Dualscar, leveling up multiple times per battle sometimes, until I'm stopped by a Ranger. She challenges me to a battle, sending out an Emolga against Jayne. Undettered by its electric attacks, I have Jayne Petal Dance. It performs Acrobatics. Jayne falls against the Super Effectiveness of its Flying attack. I decimate the rest of her party with Calmasis before returning to town to mourn the loss of yet another friend.

What do I do now?

New Arrivals:

Litwick (Merida) - Female, Adamant, Proud of its power

Boldore (Wreckoner) - Male, Bold, Mischievous

Shelmet (F.S. Jones) - Male, Sassy, Likes to fight

Palpitoad (The Miles) - Female, Quirky, Somewhat vain

Mienfoo (Ranma) - Male, Bold, Somewhat vain

Losses:

Derse to The Miles. Met in a dream at L10, died at L38.

Jayne to Pokemon Ranger Chloris' Emolga. Met at L20, died at L39.

Suggestions? I have a tentative party in my signature, because, spoilers, I get a Bronzor in the Dream World. I'm thinking of going for a Rain Dance Seismitoad and see what I can do with my non-Levitating, Heat Vulnerable Bronzor with Gravity. I'm open to other thoughts, however.

GodDAMN those Natures suck. AND two losses of established members. Yep, good old Xelakian luck, I see.

Here's a (really cute) picture of a Victini. May it turn things around.

Pic doesn't work, unfortunately. Also, my luck's turned around a little. I managed to get an Axew and Druddigon. Unfortunately, both have neutral natures. They have Mold Breaker and Sheer Force respectively. Thoughts?

Aww =( I can see it, and it really is adorable.

Neutral natures are never a bad thing in a Nuzlocke, really; the best you can hope for is just for the nature to be non-hindering, and since there are usually a lot more bad natures for a given Pokemon than good natures, sometimes you're just lucky to not be unlucky, if you get what I'm saying.

Anyway, both are awesome pulls! If you have a good way to cautiously grind the Axew (Daycare? If you're allowing it), train him and use the Druddigon as backup. Haxorus is always always always better than Druddigon.

I have two Exp Shares, as well as the Lucky Egg. It's also L31, so I wouldn't have to do too much grinding. Any recommendations, movewise/teamwise? New additions since this update are Frillish, Axew, Druddigon and Bronzor.

Frillish is unnecessary since you have better water AND ghost options at this point, and as I said, Haxorus > Druddigon if you can get him that high, which is no guarantee in a Nuz. As for the Bronzor, that's a Poke that I really love, but man does his DW Ability blow. That's the great thing about normal Bronzong, is that they only have one weakness, AND you can never tell going in which one it's going to be. So of that group, your Dragons are the only ones I'd consider for 1st string. As for movesets, for both of them just go with the most powerful physical TMs you can teach them, really. No point in teaching any special move to either, especially not Druddigon.

Also, I forget where you get the TM, but give Calmasis Calm Mind as soon as you can. Ungodly natural Defense plus Special Defense boosting equals one of the best walls in the game, and oh by the way Special Attack boosts on the side. Otherwise though, no, I'm sadly not as familiar with BW yet as I am with the other games, so that's about all I've got for you at the moment.

Well, that leaves me with an open sixth slot...I really don't know what to put there. I could do Stunky, Seismitoad, Bronzor or Zebstrika...or some other option.

Of those options, I like Seismitoad best. But you're getting to the point where you may want to type match for the Elite Four and the two post-battles.

Victini finally showed up I see. Also, my bracketed text in my last post has gone missing. And, if you weren't already aware, PR was down this morning for some inexplicable reason.

Regardless...

Day 11.

>You are dreaming. It is in these dreams you find Strength.<

I think this over for a minute. I found Derse and Aradia here. They carried me safely this far, only for them both to fall before the final stretch. Could it be that their purpose was to act as guides for a certain segment of the journey?

"What about N? What's his deal?"

>N is also dreaming. It is in his dreams that he seeks Truth.<

"So you're saying that he's right? That he'll reach his goal?"

>To Dream of Truth is to have all Paths revealed. He may know the Path of Truth, but he does not follow it.<

"What about me? You said I Dream of Strength."

>To Dream of Strength is to ignore the Paths. While N may seek a Path, you will forge your own.<

...the blackness changes into a labyrinth of thorns. Carefully navigating through, I find that the passage gets tighter and tighter, needles almost impaling me here and there, until I find a mirror. As I struggle to get to it, suddenly the needles retract, causing me to fall into the mirror. Rather than breaking it, I pass entirely through it, into another dark chamber.

>Your Path will be forged by Strength and tempered by Ideals. Perhaps your Ideals will conquer N's Truth.<

...I awake to a storm. I hate Icirrus City with a passion now. It's always raining, there's all of three different annoying Pokemon in the entire area and I've lost both Derse and Jayne. After breakfast, I have Fennel set up the Entralink. In the forest that is produced, it's also storming. Great. I can see sections of the forest were still affected by the storm from last time. Luckily, there's no lightning this time around. I wander around a bit until I come across what looks like a blue-green mirror. It's a Bronzor. I catch it, naming it Prospit. I return to the real world, withdrawing Prospit and The Miles from the PC, deciding to do some exploration before challenging Brycen.

I head back to Driftveil City, where I surf over to the lighthouse, finding a Frillish I name Feferi. Finding nothing else of interest at the lighthouse, I head back to Route 6, deciding to travel the river. I find a cave, hidden away in a grove of trees. Inside, I find an Axew. After a few tries, I catch it, naming her Pyralspite. I explore a little more, training Prospit and The Miles, allowing them to evolve into a Bronzong and Seismitoad, but quickly find it difficult to navigate without Flash. I return to town and trade out Prospit for Pyralspite. I decide it's time to return to Icirrus and get it over with.

After navigating a confusing, frozen obstacle course, having Big Daddy smash through all obstacles, I finally reach Brycen. Big Daddy breaks his Ice Pokemon as though they were nothing. He awards me the Freeze Badge. As I head out, I see Cheren and Bianca waiting for me. After a brief discussion about how strong I've gotten, Brycen charges out, yelling about seeing "them". After a second, the Shadow Triad appear. They've been watching us. They invite me to ascend Dragonspiral Tower and meet with N. We head north. A giant hole has been blown into the side of the tower. I head inside, finding a Druddigon I name Karkat and continuing the ascent. At the penultimate floor waits one of the Sages and about a dozen Plasbad Grunts. I teach them that you can't escape The Miles. Nobody can escape The Miles.

I ascend to the final floor. I see N standing in front of a huge white dragon. He turns to me.

"What do you think, Adam? How do you like the beautiful form of the Pokémon who appears before and fights beside the hero that will lead the way to a new world? Now, Reshiram and I will head to the Pokémon League and defeat the Champion! This will be the last of the Pokémon battles that hurt Pokémon so. A world for Pokémon alone...it's finally going to be a reality."

"You're crazy, N. I'll stop you, here and now."

Reshiram spits a ball of fire, knocking me back.

"If you want to stop me, you must become a hero as well! That's right! When Reshiram's counterpart, Zekrom, recognizes you, we will finally be even, and then you can try to stop us! "Well, what will you do? My prediction...if the future that I see is true, you will meet Zekrom. The Pokémon with you believe in you so strongly...will you be the one who interferes with my formula for changing the world? If you want to protect the bonds between Pokémon and people, you must search for Zekrom! I'm sure it is waiting for you in the form of the Dark Stone."

Finishing his speech, he flies off with Reshiram. Fuming, I head back to Icirrus. I will stop him. This isn't over. Alder tells me that he's heard that the Dark Stone might be in the Relic Castle in the Desert Resort. We Fly there, finding the place infested with Plasbad Grunts also looking for the Stone. Alder and I reach the final floor, finding Ghetsis already waiting there. The Dark Stone isn't here, apparently. Frustrated, he taunts Alder, about losing a Pokemon, about not having a battle in years, about abandoning the title of Champion to wander Unova. He then tells us that N plans to intimidate the populace into releasing their Pokemon now that he has Reshiram. N thinks that if anyone can challenge him, it's me, but he doubts I'll succeed, stating that "the moment when someone loses all hope...I really do love to watch that moment." With that, he walks away. We get a call shortly thereafter from Professor Juniper, telling us to meet her at the Nacrene Museum. They've apparently had the Dark Stone there the whole time. They present it to me. I can hear a voice in my head, whispering something inaudible. They tell me to seek out Drayden and Iris in Opelucid City.

I head across Tubeline Bridge and find Ghetsis waiting for me once more. He begins spilling the beans about how everything is going according to plan, about how he shaped N since birth to obtain Reshiram, how everybody releasing their Pokemon will allow Team Plasbad to take over Unova, and how I'll be unable to stop them. Furious, I have Pyralspite attack him. Her Dragon Claw tears a vicious series of gashes through Ghetsis' right eye. He screams in pain, collapsing to his knees. The Shadow Triad appears surrounding him, escorting him to safety. He says to me that by attacking him I was only proving his own point about Pokemon being used as weapons. He begins laughing as Pyralspite evolves into a Fraxure. You bastard. You will pay.

New Arrivals:

Frillish (Feferi) - Female, Sassy, Thoroughly cunning

Axew (Pyralspite) - Female, Quirky, Good perserverance

Druddigon (Karkat) - Male, Bashful, Highly persistent

Dreamed up:

Bronzor (Prospit) - Jolly, Thoroughly cunning.

More tomorrow morning. Seriously, all of the plot.

Yeah, PR was down until like 4:00. No idea what was up with that. And yes, now that Victini is here, all your troubles will cease. Or at least your luck will balance out.

ALL OF THE PLOT. But, no losses! And you have a very powerful dragon on your side now. Take care of that thing and it will carry you far.

Don't forget about EVs, though! If you're predominantly using Exp. Share to train Pyralspite, she's likely weaker than she ideally would be at this point. You may want to consider using any spare moneys to buy her some Proteins and Carbos at Cloud Nine, if your rules allow, to compensate.

Nah, I was Lucky Egging her and The Miles. Currently she's L43 and has 123 Attack. I've not been particularly EV training them, but now that I've got the final badge I'll probably look at EV grinding the whole party for a few more levels.

Holy crud your luck is horrible ;o.. worse than mine.. to be honest me and a friend have been doing nuzlockes together, his is much more epic than mine. he's only lost 3 poke and he's already to victory road with me lol  he allowed cobalion and the musketeers because they are only "minor" legendarys yet.. they suck, we fought just a little while ago and he was pwned by my team, even though he's doint so much better than me.. my team is going to make it though. i'm sure of it. i'm grinding in dark grass 24/7 i want all my poke level 50+ before i even walk into victory road.

Before I post next update, I'd like to get some suggestions on movesets and the like.

Here's my team:

Big Daddy (Emboar)

Blaze

-Brick Break

-Flamethrower

-Strength (Possibly replacing with Rock Slide if I can get it)

-Heat Crash (Might replace with something else)

Calmasis (Cofagrigus)

Mummy

-Shadow Ball

-Grass Knot

-Hex (Might replace with something else)

-Will-O-Wisp

Eridan (Swanna)

Keen Eye

-Fly

-Surf

-Roost

-Tailwind (Open to suggestions for entire moveset)

Coldstone (Vanillish)

Ice Body

-Uproar (To be replaced by Hyper Beam when it evolves)

-Ice Beam

-Acid Armor (Possibly replacing? Maybe with Flash Cannon?)

-Hail (?)

The Miles (Seismitoad)

Swift Swim

-Sludge Bomb

-Dig

-Muddy Water (To be replaced with Hydro Pump)

-Rain Dance

Pyralspite (Fraxure)

Mold Breaker

-Dragon Claw

-Dragon Dance (Possibly will replace with Swords Dance or run it alongside it)

-Dig

-Shadow Claw

Any input is welcome. I honestly am not sure what I should do with some of them. I'm lacking in a few areas to be sure. I'm really hating the lack of Earthquake and Electricity. As far as the E4 go, Shauntal, Marshal and Caitlin's movesets make them difficult to deal with effectively. It looks like I'll have to be relying heavily on Pyralspite to get me through the majority of them, a prospect I'm not looking forward to...

I can't get Earthquake until after the E4, I've tried. As for Vanillish, he's proven to be an actually pretty good sweeper, mostly due to how common an Ice weakness is. However, he's also week to lots of things so...

Also, as far as your Nuzlocke goes, I've read it when it updates, but it's kinda hard to follow in a lot of places.
